Device Database Property
All Data Source types have a set of Properties which you use to configure various aspects of their operation in your Digitise apps. You can configure these Properties in App Studio when you first create a Data Source or you can change them later at any time. To view or edit the Properties for a Data Source, select the Data Source in App Studio's Data Sources Pane, which will display the Properties for that Data Source in the Properties Pane.
Among the Properties available for each Data Source are the Device Database and Device Table Properties.
The Device Database Property allows you to specify the name of the database on your mobile devices to be used to store data associated with the Data Source.
The Device Table Property then allows you to specify a name for the database table to use within the database you specified in the Device Database Property.
You can use default names for both these Properties or you can specify your own names, if you prefer.
You can also use the Device Database Property to create a database which can be shared by different apps running on the same device and the Device Table Property to 'link' Data Sources and allow them to share the same data.
For more information see Local Data Storage on Mobile Devices and refer to the individual topics dealing with adding each Data Source type.
Note that Custom Views don't store data in a physical database table and hence do not have these Properties.
